From the moment you walk in, the space feels cosy and welcoming, making it an easy choice whether you’re stopping by for a casual lunch or settling in for a laid-back dinner. The parking situation is straightforward, and credit cards are accepted, which keeps things simple from start to finish.

The menu is where this spot really starts to shine. One of the most popular choices is the Bento, which feels thoughtfully put together and satisfying without being overwhelming. It’s a great way to sample different flavors in one sitting, especially if you’re in the mood for variety. For something warm and indulgent, the Baked Green Mussels are a standout. They arrive hot, rich, and full of flavor, striking a balance between comfort and classic sushi-house flair.

If fresh fish is what you’re after, the Sashimi Sampler delivers a clean, vibrant experience that highlights quality and freshness. Each slice feels carefully prepared, making it a favorite among diners who appreciate simplicity done right. Roll lovers tend to gravitate toward the Alaska Roll, which is smooth, refreshing, and easy to enjoy, while the Double Hamachi Roll offers a more layered bite with a buttery texture that feels special without being overcomplicated.

What makes this sushi restaurant even more appealing is the attention to healthy options. The menu includes lighter choices that don’t sacrifice taste, so it’s easy to enjoy a meal that feels good afterward. Dessert options are also available, adding a sweet note to round out the experience without feeling excessive.

Across reviews and local dining conversations, the consistent theme is comfort, quality, and approachability. Hokaido Sushi fits seamlessly into the neighborhood dining scene, offering a reliable menu, a calm atmosphere, and a genuine sense of care in how food is prepared and served. It’s the kind of place that quickly becomes familiar, not because it tries too hard, but because it simply gets the basics right.

“ Each time I come to this restaurant I find myself loving it even more than the last. From the attention that is paid to the quality of the food to the friendly service of the staff. The passion of the chefs is shown through the tasty and presentable sushi they deliver. Absolutely the BEST sushi spot I have ever been to. At this point, I do not even bother going anywhere else but here because nothing compares. A customer for life. Thanks guys. ”

“ I have tried their food a few times now and everytime I am ABSOLUTELY impressed. The lunch special is my favorite as it includes everything I love at a good price. It's cheap and actually amazing. Last time I ate with my family and my mom who rarely eats half her food finished EVERYTHING. It's beautiful inside and I wanna go back everyday. ”

“ It was late dinner and place was empty upon my arrival. Later few people came in. They served happy hour menu. I ordered simple Philadelphia roll and miso soup with monkey brain. I would give this place 4 stars. ”

“ Food was good...not great. We had chicken teriyaki and veg tempura bento boxes. The salad was great. The tempura was good except for the btovolli which was disgusting soaked w grease. The chicken teriyaki sauce was good but the chicken was dry and tough. The misobsoup was very good. They had green tea I've cream thatcwas creamy and ddish. The waitress was great..fun personality and good service. Atmosphere was fine. Overall good but dried chicken broughtvit down. We We could go back if in the area but are looking around for bit better and closer to home now. ”

“ I love this Japanese Restaurant. The taste is superb and the service is quick. Both days we went there we really enjoyed it.Both days I have to have a take out of my left-over from my bento meal because their serving is really generous. It's a must to visit this when you're in Las Vegas,NV. They've been around for a long time so definitely a good one to add to your bucket list of restaurants to visit. ”

“ This place is my absolute go-to for happy hour sushi, and the quality of the food is consistently excellent. I've always found the sushi to be incredibly fresh and delicious. Unfortunately, I've noticed the service has become a bit inconsistent lately. I hope they can address this as it's such a great spot otherwise. ”
